Yo, my brothers. How can I reset the OC monitor on an aftermarket deck?

Turn the key to the on position, but DO NOT start the car. Step on the gas pedal 3 times releasing it each time for about a second. The third time hold it down for about 3 to 4 seconds and then turn the key off. Next time you start your car the message should be gone.
