Question Remplace a battery

What sort of tool or key is necessary to take out the battery

whith an european key 7 or a key 8 ?
Must i have special tools american ?
I dont want to break the cables

it is a 5th generation 3100 cc 1995

I think its a 6MM socket. I think, im not sure on that one.

On the '05 I know it's 5/16 SAE, thats roughly an 8mm.

Is the 7mm too small and the 8mm too large?

Yeah, I was wrong, its a 8MM well, thats what I always use. But I just double checked the the OP and hes got the 5th gen. I need to read these things through LOL

you know its really sad. most bolts on the car are metric. the only bolts i know off hand thats sae are the lugs, and 3/4 is the same as 19 mm.

damn right canadian built eh!!

everything on the car is metric mostly and if not its 9/16's or 1/2"
