Hey everyone I just replaced my fuel pump in my 02 ss and a couple of days ago n today the guage jumped from an 1/8 of a tank to a half tank and said low fuel..any ideas what happened oh and the check engine light came on at the same time as po441 emission control system...is that related to the fuel pump?

 

Did you repalce it with a brand new pump the gauge is controled on the fuel pump it's self

 

Yes it was a brand new pump

 

p0441 can be caused by a bad fuel tank pressure sensor, if you still have the old sending unit just pop out the sensor and replace the one thats on it now. probably an aftermarket unit right?
