Rattle in the Rear
I have an 04 SS. I started hearing this rattle in the rear on the drivers side not too long ago. It rattles any time i go over a bump or hit a pot hole. Now though I am getting the rattle on both sides. I have not figured out where it is coming from. Anyone else had this issue?

RE: Rattle in the Rear
Welcome to MCF Melinda!!!
Can you tell us a bit more about the rattle? I have the same model and may be of help. Does it sound like its coming from the trunk, rear panels by the seat belts?
Can you be a bit more specific?
Otherwise I'd say get the junk out of the trunk.

RE: Rattle in the Rear
Im pretty sure I know this one! I had a rattle just the same as yours and when I told my mechanic what was happening he said it was the two 6" rods that connect the anti sway bar to the rear end. I ask him how he knew this over the phone and he said these go out on Chevy's alot. He was right, the set of two cost me about $20.00 and that solved the problem. The reason Im so sure this is the same as my problem is one side started to rattle and within aweek the other side started.
