Default rattle vibration from rear dash?

02 SS with 243,000mi

Sometimes when I hit a bump, road seam or gravel road I get a terrible rattle like the rear window is about to pop out. It almost seems like the body welds are broken. The rear dash seems a bit worn and may be loose. I think I will try removing it. I already reset the spare tire and unclipped the amplifier.

Anyone else with this type of problem?

Thanks in advance.

Rear strut could be worn, or loose.

Really struts do that? thanks I'll check that next. I was more worried the rear window rusted out. The car age and high mileage I didn't expect the strut to come loose. We have put the last 43,000 on it. I expect all the struts are at leaste a little flat.
