Thank you sirs.. I do appreciate the comments. These cars.. specifically GM cars need the attention, otherwise the whole car rots right out. The most crucial thing you can do is undercoat it either with an oil, wax, or a rubberized undercoating. As with this rad support its welded into the frame and this is where the corrosion begins to take place. I've seen too many GM vehicles come into the shop with complete rustbuckets not even worthy of being on the road. Don't get me wrong, every manufacturer has its share of s***boxes but every customer I've met treats their GM like a beater. So to anyone out there enjoying their Monte's please don't neglect it and do whats right for you and the car. Peace!

I'm definitely going to research undercoating for this winter for my brand new Camaro. And do it every year.

Thank you Zell.. And yes.. if you plan on driving it in the winter with the s*** they spray on the roads.. def do it Chibi. Ebay's got a restoration company Eastwood that specialize in all sorts of wax's and undercoatings POR15 brand is one of them. Or you can simply get it oil sprayed like I did. The only difference is oil will soften the rust up and cause it to flake further. But other than that I'm sure there is an undercoating product that covers rust and prevents it from reoccuring, it does create a moisture free barrier and acts as a sound damper. Good luck.
