Default Rad cap

Hello, I have an 00 Monte SS N/A, and last week i did a rad flush, now It's overheating abit and needs more fluid, but when i go to take the rad cap off (after it's cooled down) it turns over to the notched spot, but it won't pull off. I figure it's vapoured locked maybe? how do I get the damn thing off?

thanks in advance

after you turn the cap, try giving it a little push down, turn a little bit more and then pull it up. you could also relieve the vacuum by taking the lid off of the overflow tank. while your at it, pour the coolant in there instead.
