Like it says on the can, need a little help. Recently (like a day ago) bought a 2001 Monte Carlo LS and the power seat adjustment **** works, but not fully. I can lower the back of the seat down, but i can't adjust the front of the seat, it does sound like something is being activated, it has the noise as if a motor is being actuated, but nothing moves. Any guesses?

(also why I'm here, what the hell is the spinning **** on the seat? can't rightly figure that one out.)

 

If it sounds like the motor is spinning, I'd pull the seat and physically inspect it. Maybe the track motor has come loose/isn't engaging or the gear has something stuck in it.
