I drove the car to work and home yesterday and it didn't over heat but it still went past the halfway mark. I'm gonna burp it like I did yesterday again, is that normal for it to go past halfway because I'm hearing two different answers

Honestly, I'm not sure about the needle position on the L67 (Supercharged). The recommended thermostat for the L67 is 195°F compared to 180°F for the L36, (Naturally asperated). I know It's straight up for the L36, so if the L67 uses the same gauge as the L36 it would read higher. Maybe somebody with a L67 can chime in here and confirm that.

I PM'd a fellow member with an L67 (Supercharged) and he says his needle is at 10 O'clock at 195o.

So that's like the mark just below the halfway ?

Then my car is definitely going over what it should. I've replaced the radiator, flushed it, changed the hoses, changed the thermostat, I even got a mechanic to check the CPU and he said the car is running normal temperature but the gauge says otherwise. He said it's probably the cluster but the gauges don't show to be malfunctionin. Also, I really thank you for all the help you've provided thru this whole fix

Glad to hear you're up and running.
The member I spoke to for the gauge needle said he had to have his gauge cleaned out to make it read right.

Glad I could help with the fix, out of curiosity how did you manage to get the bolt out of the tensioner?

I hope that's the only problem I'll try removing it to find out. I never got it out I just took your advice and replaced it. I learn more about cars as I work on mine so that was a good thing to learn
