So I've decided to do a PCM swap in my 06 Monte SS to pass my E-test.
My mom is loosing her mind because she wants to do it before I go home.

My questions are:
How easy is it to remove the PCM currently loaded?
Do you have any step by step or diagrams?
Removing it, is the whole thing the "core" as I want to save money and just send it to overkill in Toronto.

I recommend you just get a cat welded on, that is, if you already have the CAT.

The pcm was held in place by 'clips' on my 04 before I added the cai.

 

I'm doing the cat but if it throws a code Im going to need the PCM

You want it tuned out. It is not hard to remove at all.
