Default Pass side window will not go up with new switch, only down.

My passenger window will not go up when I push the passenger side switch up, it only will work when I push it down. The window will move both ways using the driver side switch. I thought I needed a new switch, but the new one still didn't solve the problem. I put a test light onto the harness that plugs into the window lift motor. It lights up on the one contact if I push up and it lights up when I push down on the other contact, so I am getting voltage to the motor from the passenger side switch. It doesn't make sense. I even replaced the motor, which is what I thought was the original problem. If I am getting voltage to the motor, why wont it work in the down position/only up position, but will work both ways from the driver side?

Does any one have any ideas?

I would greatly appreciate the help!!

Hmmm, that is a truly esoteric situation. I would just have the shop check it out. Sounds like you have done all you can do, no?
