Default *UPDATE* 14.91@93.8mph from 15.065@91.5 mph on first/only pass

Got two more runs tonight. the second was a 15.026@93.91 mph but my 1st run was 14.916@93.85 mph baby!
I still need to work on the 60' time. i tried diff launch rpm but still end up with much the same. 2.281, 2.288, 2.284 deff consistant! a nice set of drag radials should fix it. but yeah the DOHC deff needs more low end. but 14.9 baby!

----------------------last week---------------------
now i know why people hate this track so much. (orlando speed world)
the crew took 40 min to clean a spill on the track. and i was next up when it happend... so they rushed me up there and the car was still in startup airfuel. my O2s were at 960's! when normally they are at 915. i barely had time to load the scantool on the laptop. i had work this night too so with all the people i only got one run! i finally had my first run by 8pm! when the track opend at 6pm. i needed to be on the road by 915 at the latest to make it back to daytona and change for work. someone also blew their engine and pulled over to the side of the track. after watching that for 30 min i left and went home at like 845.

i have pics of the time slip, me waiting for them to clean the damn track and a friend of mine took a video of it. for some reason the video jumps. not sure if it happend when it was converted to the computer or recorded that way but its better then nothing.
now on to the goodies:

im very happy with the time: 1/4 in 15.065 at 91.5mph just wish the O2's/AF wasnt all screw'd up. heck if i could get practice launching, i'll degg crack into 14's be it 14.999 lol but i have the 60' time to improve to cut that 2.281 down to a 2.1 or even a 2.20 and that will get me there bottom line my goal of 15 flat for the monte is in hand.

Hi David, thanks for your post and your experience at Orlando Motor Speedway.
It's to bad that you didn't have more time and that you only got one run : (
I think you had a decent run considering the track and time conditons.

I haven't been there for a long time, but my friends still go & race their Ricer's.
I wish I had the time and money to go to the track, but school and work keep getting in the way : )

I hope that more members like you post their times & experiences at their tracks in
there area. I love reading post with that information. Thanks again for taking the time
to post and share your experience's with the members.

Keep updating us on your awesome Monte and your experiences. Thanks...
Wish you safe/happy/fast/z34 Miles : ).

That's pretty cool stuff! You just run the fogs when racing? Gives a cool effect. Thanks for schooling the mislead Found On Road Dead driver who thoughthe had enough power in his stroketo extinguish the Phoenix's flame.

well i finally checked my scan from my second run. and with the car in 2nd gear, it shifted into 2nd at a wopping 45mph ant 6200 rpm

the file i loaded into the car was telling it to hold 1st until 6800rpm and 52mph so i guess there is something in the 4t60e that if you have it in something other then OD.

on my first run i forgot to logit, but it seemd to shift where i told it when i had the car in OD... the only thing was it shifted into 3rd just before the trap. i could have hit the 6800 rpm marker i deff didnt hit the 95mph point i had in there.

here is the scan:
