painting the headlight casings?
I haven't done it on this car but on a previous car I did it. Not a big deal at all. My only suggestion would be to clean the chrome area inside the housing where you plan on painting really good with rubbing alcohol. Mask it off real good and do your thing. Use hi-temp paint too. And when you heat up the housing to get to to seal back up, get it in there as best you can and then run a bead of silicone around the edge to seal it all up, it's a cake walk.
Ha! sorry i didn't see this before else i would have posted...that's exactly what i did to mine about 8-10 months ago. I used urethane they use to put windshields on and haven't had any problems with leaking at all.....i got a picture or two in my gallery but kept all the pictures i took of when i did it--25-30 pictures at least. any questions yet and i'd be happy to help out. good luck
Aftermarket headlights right? Because I know of no 6th gen oem headlight that you can heat and open. They're all plastic welded shut. Post some pics as well.
sorry--wasn't expecting to find it on here yet but that's what i get for assuming. . . . . here's what i did....
