painting the headlight casings?

Default painting the headlight casings?

anyone here taken off the lens of their headlights and paint the headlights black? i really wanna do this and i know it can be done like on other cars...

Well I would think you'd probably have some leaking issues soon after since it'll be hard to get the seal perfect after you open 'em up.

the sealing won't be too terribly difficult, it's getting the headlight pulled apart, you have to heat them up and pull them apart

Well regardless, my advice would be to tint the headlights on the outside, rather than trying to do it from the inside. It'll be simpler and you'll have less chance of damaging your housing.

since you have a 7th gen, you can get a set of black headlights from a company called depo. theyre about $160 and VERY high quality, no worries about them leaking since they are brand new. takes about 20 minutes to install both sets

agreed 100%, or just get headlight covers, or depo headlights like said above this

i really like the look of having the black headlight housing. what site can you order them from? cause if i screw up pullen the stockers apart tm morn ill need new ones lol

well i just bought a heat gun took off thee lenses and painted them...they look sick! i pput them back together and caulked the lenses back in hopefully theyll work just fine
