Default Picked tires finally

So I had Michelin harmony tires on my car when I bought it and they were okay, it seemed like on the day they turned 4 years old according to the dot # they got real slippery in the rainy weather. I really hate that. I wanted continental contiextremecomtact tires, but they are discontinued. Then I wanted BFG traction t/a's because the price is good and I've had them before, wasn't overly impressed with tread life but I was extremely happy with wet weather control. Also discontinued...

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's are now my decision they are $180 more than I wanted to spend but hopefully will be a great tire.

Put a couple hundred km's on the pilot sport a/s tires and so far my only complaint is the price. I've had a good drive in the rain on the hwy and had some backwoods winding roads that I could open it up on and they are like glue holding it to the road. I wasn't expecting anything less for the price, the 500 tread wear with an A temperature and a AA in traction ratings. They make my car seem gutless off the line because I can barely get the tires to spin, but they just hook and go!!

Highly recommend these for your car if you can afford them (I couldn't lol) I've had bfg's, Goodyear, hankook, firestone, and some off brands. The only brand that comes close to these tires were the BFG's and that particular style was discontinued.

SWEET nothing like new tires for your Monte.... I run BF Goodrich G-Force and even though the tread life is what it is, I would rather have the grip when cornering than spin out and possibly lose the car. Glad to see you got this decision done as it is always a tough one. Your rolling in style now!!!!!!!!!

Michelin makes a great tire....I think you get what you pay for. I took the plung and paid extra for Michelin Hydroedge tires on my Monte and love them. They handle very well, and seem to be wearing GREAT.
