So I love my Monte, but lately it has been a massive headache. Had to replace the motor and everything was fine for the first few days, then I started having a Cyl. 3 misfire, so I checked coil, wire, and plug only to find all working fine, so I replaced the injector. After a day or two it cleared up, now I have a P0102 MAF low circuit input, and P0443 EVAP purge control circuit. This first started with just the CEL coming on, now the car will barely stay running. I find it hard to believe that both parts fail at exactly the same time, but am drawing a blank on everything else. Please help, thank you!

 

Try getting some MAF cleaner and spray some of that in the sensor. Be gentle though as it is quite fragile. Then try resetting the code to see if it comes back.
If it is the MAF sensor get a Brand new one, I've had a re manufactured one fail after 3 months.
