Hey Im new here but I have a 2007 MC LS & my "check engine light" came on for the bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor. I already ordered the replacement part but does anyone have any tips or advice for finding it & replacing it?

 

It should be on your rear exhaust manifold. You should use an oxygen sensor socket to remove and reinstall the new

 

ok i replaced it but im not sure if its right because i got the replacement o2 sensor without the plug so i had to connect the wires myself but the colors were different. I just tried to match them up with the old ones by location but im not sure has anyone else done this?

 

I'm having trouble getting to the plug part of the o2 sensor, any advice on an easier way to unplug it.
