My monte carlo sat for about 7 months. I finally got it running and then had to replace the crank sensor. Now it doesnt make any power and I cant drive it because it has a hard time moving. It doesnt have a miss and actually runs smooth with no check engine light or anything. It reminds me of when the cat. went out but I have eliminated the exhaust as the culprit. Any help on what to check would help a lot right now.

IDK if you've tried this but you may want to do a relearn procedure, for starters, then go from there.

 

How long has it been running?

Did you ever get fresh fuel in? What about all the other fluids??

 

What all has been done to it? Fuel filter, spark plugs, Air filter?

 

Can you please lead me the procedure for the relearn?

I did get fresh fluids in it. It was down because of a lifter that collapsed. So I replaced the oil and coolant when I replaced it. I also put fresh fuel in it. After I fixed that it was running fine. The next day it wouldnt start so I replaced the crank sensor and it fired right up. But now it doesnt have any power to it.

The fuel filter was replaced just before it sat. Plugs and air filter are new.
