I have a 2000 monte carlo that has an odd issue. 190K miles. this has been happening recently when temp gets around 70 or below from sitting over night. go to crank and nothing and when you let go of key the starter will bump. will have to to this anywhere from 2 to 8 times before it actually turns over and starts. no security light, replaced ignition switch last year already. it is not the relay because I switched the relays out. I do have original starter but i don't believe that is the cause. why i say that is because after car is warmed up and I drive it to work, I have no problems the rest of the day. anyone else ever had this issue?
