hazzard switch more than likely went bad. i have an extra one that works temporarly if you want it. just pay the shipping. it works then will stop every once in a great while, all you have to do is press the hazzards and turn them off and the blinkers work again

The newish model gm's have a relay style flasher and is available from any parts store that offers ACDelco products under the dash it will have a green base where it's prongs come out. And no a regular relay will not work.

the blinker relay is the little triangle button, its the relay for the hazzards and blinkers.

hi!
so if you bang on the hazard switch really really hard and then shut it off. then try your blinkers. if they work you just need to replace your hazard switch.

I've ran into this problem also. As well as the high beams not staying on. The signal arm will put them on for a second and will keep them on if I hold it there. I think the entire arm is bad in my case. But I've also found that the turn signals work if I hit the hazards and release them.

I've come across this problem as well in my '06 MC. I've changed all the light bulbs on the car. Problem is on the left side. The blinkers will light up but the flasher part doesn't work. Everything works fine inside the car but no flashing lights outside.
