Okay so hopefully people still come on this site bc i could really use some help. I bought my monte catt try lo about a month or so ago n its killing me to not beable to listen to any music not even radio. My radio works like the head unit (factory) ut turns on u can change radio station all that turn up the volume, n it says the volume is turning up but i dont hear anything not even a static i checked the fuses there good my amp is good (99%) sure it is but i noticed theres wires ripped out of the harness it almost looks like a red wire with black stripes and a blue wire with white stripes. Is this my problem do i need to get a new harness/adapter n splice all the wires back to together?

 

Is it still the factory amp? And if wires are pulled out of the factory harness, that is most likely problem #1. The other items I would check is get the pin-outs for the wiring harness to the amp and find out if it has a good ground and if the power connections are actually delivering power properly.

thankyou sm for the reply! Yes its the factory amp. I have a new harness coming tomorrow morning im gonna pit everything in tomorrow ill keep u updated n see if those ripped wires r a problem

 

Does anyone have the wiring diagram to ALL the wires going to the factory amp in the trunk i need to kno which wire is what i kno the speakers wire i just dont kno any of the other wires going to this amp if anyone could help me out with that id greatly appreciate it
