Default help no factory harness

I purchased a car that had an after market radio in it, and when now i want to upgrade that radio to a better radio. Once i opened it up back there i was met with a mess of wires and no harness just a bunch of loose wire and some taped together. this is the colors that are in there some of them i have been able to figure out and some not. I do not have an owners manual and the book i bought from auto zone is to general does not speak of my colors and what they do so any help would be great.

orange- battery wire ( constant 12v)
orange-?
pink-?
gray- ilumination
blue- ?
purple- ?
blk- ground
blk-?
wht-?
and there is also this siren looking thing in there is that the chirp/ alarm do i need it and what colors do it go to. i am going to continue to look around and see if i can find something if i do i will let you guys know

So are we supposed to guess what car this is going in to? I mean, i'm sure it's a Monte Carlo but a year would be nice.
