hey so Ive been working on an 01 monte carlo ss w the 3.8 and I lost my keys so i installed a new ignition cylinder and switch. Ive already done the bypass procedure where you try to crank it and wait 10 minutes 3 times and it was successfull but now im required to do it everytime i try to start the car. I did notice that ever since i got it to start for the first time to bypass the security feature I only had to try to crank it and wait 10 minute once to get it started opposed to 3 times. PS The ignition cylinder and switch i used were from a 2004 monte carlo ss.
