Many Issues Mechanic friend says MAF- HELP PLEASE

Was AutoZone able to tell you what the "Service Engine Soon" code is about? That could be the key to what is going on.

Yes, Im sorry I didn't post that. Autozone said the code was P0102

The P0102 code would indicate low voltage at the MAF sensor. As previously mentioned, it can be removed and cleaned. Make sure the electrical connector is clean and tight when you reinstall the sensor. If cleaning the sensor doesn't resolve the problem check for air leaks and (using a multimeter) backprobe the electrical connector and check the voltage. If no air leaks are found and the voltage is good replace the MAF sensor.
