5th Gen ('95-'99): Key on, nothing happens - 99 Monte
First off, hello everyone. I purchased my 99 Monte new off the lot and 215,000 miles later we're still going strong. I've done the intake a couple of times and most recently replaced the head gaskets.
Today, however, she threw a curveball that stumped me. For the passed two years I haven't had any AC. It finally got too hot to deal with so I've spent the past week fixing that. I installed a new compressor, drier, and orifice tube. I ran her today, filled the system, and finally I had nice cool air. I shut off the car and went inside to clean up. When I got back I turned the key and I got about half a second or so of her attempting to start and then nothing. The system was still set to max air and 4 during this. Now I have no headlights, taillights, or dome light. When I turn the key to on (or start) it's like the battery isn't even connected. I'm getting about 12.6 from the battery and all my fuses (passenger side interior and both sides of the engine bay) check out as good. I haven't checked the relays. I reseated both the positive and negative terminals.
I searched the forums and google but I didn't find anything that sounded like this issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

Found the issue and feel like an idiot. I apparently hit the positive plate when reinstalling the air box. The bolt was tight and giving me a 12v reading but the plate was loose because the teeth nicked the battery terminal. Retightened and all was fine.
