This is ridiculous, Ive never owned/heard of a vehicle that needed any kind of maintenance on the steering...starting to regret buying this thing

Just been to my local Chevy dealer today for service. My dealer mechanic informed me that finally GM took care of the ISS issue in the trucks and cars! They have come out with a new design ISS which incorporates a teflon bushing inside the moving shafts which will no longer make noise in the steering wheel! Had it installed today...$132.00 for the updated ISS and 1 hour labor in case anyone is interested in getting the new shaft instead of the temporary fix using lithium grease.Working great now with a nice steering wheel feel with no vibration....clicking and no noises of any kind...Give it a try! AL
