A buddy of mine sent me some pictures from the back breaks on his '00 LS.

I tried to find what it was...thought it was the e-brake cable, but all the parts books look different. Can anyone identify what this piece is.

Hopefully the pictures show up. If the attachment shows as broken, the picture is still there if you click on the icon

Looks like the drum end of the parking brake cable to me. You can see the return spring to the left, theparking brake lever sticking through the back of the drumin the center and the cable to the right.
