Just bought the car, it's a 97 Monte Carlo Z-34. One criteria was working cruise control! Well, worked fine on the test drive, but now that I own it I find that it is REALLY sporadic, it turns on and works fine sometimes, then other times won't turn on at at all. I changed the brake/cruise switch but that did nothing. When it does finally turn on it works fine for sometimes 15 - 20 minutes at a time. Sometime it just shuts off and other timesIhave felt the engine pulsate a little and then the cruise shuts off. Sometimes I can get it to restart right awayagain and sometimes it's done for the rest of the ride. REALLY, REALLYfrustrating. The car is in really nice shape and everything else works like a charm. I just need this cruise control to work darnit! Any help would be HUGELY appreciated!

possibly the Cruse control box under the hood...or a loose connection at the switch possibly... but my money is on the box
