Default Cruise Not Working etc...

Hey , Everyone How Are ya here are my woes... the Cruise Control is not working on my 2000 MC SS I don't kno why...and i think i might have a speed sensor problem becausewhen hitting about 20 MPH i get a Jerk and then at about 45 MPH i get another lil jerk dnt really know just speculating..... my fan's not working prpoerlyit only works on setting 5 and mt tail pipe is hanging think i need a bracket or a clip for it so any help would be greatly appreciated. I think it might be a vaccum for the cruise control that needs checking

i had this problem only one time... i shut the car off and back on... worked fine, haven't had the problem sense *crosses fingers*

Try disconnecting your battery for 30 minutes (not 27.. not 28... 30 or more). The reason is that this computer is designed to reset after being disconnected for over 30 mins. I doubt this will help... but who knows.

After that, take it to Auto Zone and scan it... see if anything comes up.

If your car is doing this jerking thing.. it might have a computer issue.. could be messing the spark. Tahts why I think you may have to reset your computer.

Aside from that.. take it to the dealership and just take the hit if you want it fixed...

How many miles are on your Monte?
