Default Heated seat issue

Hey everyone, I've been without a heated seat for a couple months now but winter is coming up, so I need to get this fixed soon. My drivers seat does not heat up at all. I've opened up the seat looking for burnt wires like the other threads mention and I found nothing. I've checked the switches, they work fine. I even switched the passenger and drivers switches just to check and it still doesn't work. I don't know where to go from here. Any ideas?

if you have a simpson meter you can check for ohms resistance on you seat bottom or seat back. both have to be working to complete the circuit. no ohms means there is a break in your heat wires. both plug in under the seat. find the cover that is bad and solder up the break and should work. you can get new leather covers on gmpartsdirect.com but be ready for sticker shock. car needs to be running and switch on to check for ohms.

Try this out, it worked for me after not having a driver side heated seat for 4 years:

If you can't find the wired keep digging it took me a good half hour to finally locate my burn spot.
