Default Headlight Issues

I love my Monte Carlo but geez this thing is becoming expensive.

None the less,

So after I spend today cleaning it up using clay and get a nice good wax job on it I come home, I leave where I was cleaning it to find I have no low beams.

High Beams work, Fog lights work when you flip it to low beams, but no low beams.

Its done the occasional stick where the low lights would go out but then re switch it to come back on but this time it won't even do that.

I've checked the lamps, fuses and relay appears fine so is this going to be another $250 dollar repair for freaking headlights?

If the headlight fuses are under the hood then yes I checked them and they appear to be fine.

OK,

I have DRL, High Beams and Fog Lights.

Low Beams are getting volts as tested on circuit tester.

Bought new lights - Nada same - Took new ones back.

Whatcha guys think?

Try switching from high to low to high several times. I've heard of the multi function switch going out. Both lights? And the socket has voltage? Both?

Yes,

Both sockets have power and I've switched it several times probably 10 times at one time and it does nothing except High to No low.

Needed new dimmer switch.

Got one off ebay GM part for $145 so that wasn't bad for a brand new one.

I now have low beams again.
