P0441 code and stumble/hesitation
My 97' z34 (3.4L) monte carlo now has the engine light on which gives me the code P0441, I know that it means Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow. Just wondered what is the usual fix of this (besides the gas cap). Also the car still stumbles when accelerating slighty but when I left off the gas and reapply it speeds up fine 99% of the time. Any ideas ? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

Please post additional infor on your Monte to assist member's in helping.
1. How many miles on your Z 34 ?
2. Do you have any modifications ?
3. What has been replaced on your engine ?
4. Have you replaced the `gas cap ?
Look 4ward to your answers/post. Good Luck from `Space

121,000 miles
No modifications (besides a few dents)
Recently replaced- Plugs, wires, intake manifold gaskets, plenum gasket, injector gaskets, air filter, throttle body gasket, tranny fluid/filter.
Car also sometimes stumbles slightly when idling. Might dip 100 rpms or so every once in a while. Maybe an air leak? Thanks !!!

I'm not sure as to what the code means, but...
In my mom's 2000 Bonneville 3800 V6, we experienced the same symptoms and it was the Mass Air Flow sensor (110K). Another time hesitation was caused by an ignition coil (72K). Also, it could be your oxygen sensor...
The crank sensor also went in the Bonnie at (118K) which was causing the car to die at idle sometimes, and the tach to stop working while driving on the highway sometimes...Ever since we replaced the crank sensor, everything has stopped.
I know I have listed several things, but all could cause hesitation...I just don't know there relation to the code your car is throwing.
