if you have the temperature sent to heat but the fan at 0 the speed of the air moving over the car as you drive will push air through the vent system. I tend to not use the fan when at highway speeds as the air being pushed through is usually enough. Maybe thats what you're experiencing?

Driving at highway speeds pushes enough air through to move it into the cabin and transfer the engine's heat. I had been doing a lot of highway driving up til this past spring. I usually have the blower set to the floor and the fan off most of the time, and would still have air movement sometimes. I do remember it being pretty warm once and a while.

I usually drop it to halfway when I drive without heat on. Because it really does stay warm lol

If you push the recirculate button then turn the blower off it should stop almost all the air flow but it needs the be on the dash for the HVAC control to allow it to happen.
