Engine Heat
When i drive my car i feel heat coming threw the vents, that i know is normal.Butt should it be so hot that i never have to turn the heat on.Does any 1 elses cars do this;and if so how do I fix it?
if you have the temperature sent to heat but the fan at 0 the speed of the air moving over the car as you drive will push air through the vent system. I tend to not use the fan when at highway speeds as the air being pushed through is usually enough. Maybe thats what you're experiencing?
Driving at highway speeds pushes enough air through to move it into the cabin and transfer the engine's heat. I had been doing a lot of highway driving up til this past spring. I usually have the blower set to the floor and the fan off most of the time, and would still have air movement sometimes. I do remember it being pretty warm once and a while.
