I have had one in my car on and off. but i know where this came from. When i put the L.E.D.'s under the door handels they were taken out of the car. and since then about once a year or so they start to rattel when i hit bumps etc... so i have to go in and tighten them up again. one of these days i will get smart and use lock tight.

 

Anyone have an update on this? I am out of school for a bit and I'm thinking of taking the car in to the dearlership to see if I can drive a tech around until they hear the noise. Have we determined that it is the clips that are supposed to hold the rods apart?

most all 06-07's have door rattles for some reason. my 06 ss has the same rattle.... possibly worse... my stock stereo bass makes it buzz like bees. i'm going to take it apart over the holidays and will update asap. if it is the clips... that will be a hard fix 'cause the rodshave toslidewhile held bythe clips everytime the lock or inside handle is used.

 

I might have to take mine apart soon aswell, I got my subs hooked up two days ago, makes the doors that much worse. First thing first though, I've got to figure out what the plastic on plastic rattle is that's coming from the rear deck.

 

My 07 rattles only in the drivers door. I took it to the dealer adn tehy said a rod is out of the track. I will also have my doors off soon and will have a look casue it still somewhat rattles.
