Door panel removal

Thanks for the pictures and advice! I've got a bum mirror switch and will probably look into it myself and knowing what you faced will help. If you don't mind though - is it possible to get the panel for the window and mirror switches out just by removing 3,4 and 5 and carefully prying? (I read that you couldn't but the mystery #3 screw might have been your culprit)
The Firebird was way easier. Somebody from the power window/mirror switch syndicate can steal hundreds of 95 F-body switches in a single evening. Not so with the Monte.
Speaking of mirror control - I'll confess now that it fell apart on me when trying to unplug it. It all went back together and works (whew!). Ever take a TV remote apart when a button quits working? The inside of the mirror control is the same thing, a circuit board with copper pads, a rubber pad with carbon spots that make contact with those copper pads, and the hard buttons that you press. You may be able to fix it if the copper pads are dirty or the parts are loose.
