Do I need a new Ignition Switch?
I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and I have read some stuff that leads me to believe that I need a new Ignition Switch.
My Cruise Control light on my steering wheel light is on but the Cruise Control doesn't work.
No air blows out of the vents on any level (1-5), but a tiny bit of air seeps through the dash defroster. All lights are on on the actual unit that hold the dials and you can switch modes and temp (face/feet/Defrost , hot/cold etc.) but no steady air.
The overhead display on the ceiling will sometimes turn on and then sometimes won't.
And when I turn my car on there are a lot of ticking noises on the dash.
If it's not the ignition switch than can someone tell me what it is please?! All fuses have been checked and are ok.

My 03 SS did exactly same thing other than ticking you mention. Also the rearview mirror lamps wouldn't turn on. And the green cruise light would illuminate on the cluster.
Changed the switch haven't had any issue since. I put a delco switch in mine, took me 30 minutes
