'97, 3.1L: There is a small black steel line, approx. 1/2" dia., that runs across the front valve cover gasket and into the water pump. As far as I can tell, it's associated with the heater. It's leaking at the point where it connects to the top of the water pump. I can't find a picture that shows what kind of connection it is. Is it an O ring, gasket, metal-to-metal????? I want to have the parts ready when I take it apart because it's my wife's daily driver. Any help?

 

it is a o ring setup adn quite simple to change. be carefull not to twist off the bolt, very easy to do also.
