The heads? Were you using a 15mm 6 point socket? J-shaped pick pulls the broken piece right out.

The elbows were a pain doing them in my driveway. It sucks sometimes not having every tool available

less than 30 mins with my tools at the shop. Guess that's where having the right tools make all the difference.

Having the right tools makes all the difference. I think I'm with Aussie, I can do it in my driveway with the tools in my garage in about 30 minutes (not counting topping off and bleeding the system).

I've had luck with removing that the part of the elbow that is stuck in the LIM. I take a small screw driver and press one side of the old elbow piece towards the inside of the LIM. After that it spins and I can grab it with a set of needle nose.
Not sure if it's just luck or if it's a good way, but it's worked for me. Something to keep in mind for next time.

Stripped screws/bolts suck. Screws more so.

With these cars: ratchet + extension + 10mm, 13mm, 15mm sockets = win.
