clicking noise

Default clicking noise
i got my 2006 monte carlo LT a few months back, had about 50,000 miles on it, but ever since i got it whenever i turn my car off, a loud clicking noise comes from the glove box area, and will shut off after about 30 seconds. A mechanic said it may have something to do with my air conditioning. any ideas?

Isn't the PCM located in that area?
