Cigarette lighter / 12V adapter

Angry Cigarette lighter / 12V adapter
Heres a question, my front cig lighter is bad instead of running to the local parts store and buying a new one, can i just swap my cig lighter from the back seat to the front???

Hi 05_Monte,
I don't see why not...If it's the lighter itself that is bad and that
power is still coming from your front unit.
Also, if it's not working ? Check your fuse.

I blew a fuse today and my front would not work, but the rear would. The fuse in in the passenger side fuse box behind the door.
