Default Check engine light

Check engine light came on when I turned on my 05 LT about an hour ago. No unusual engine noise, no visible leaks. He's got 68,110 miles on him. Ideas?

My first thought is always the fuel cap. If you've fueled up recently, make sure the fuel cap is tight. If not, bring it over to an Autozone or something and they will scan it for free to tell you what it is.

If you live in Ohio, before eCheck (otherwise, you will fail). I'd look into fixing it ASAP so you don't need to worry about it. And if it's just the evap code, it might be a loose gas cap (or in case of my wife's '01 Mustang, Ford wrapped wire loom around the filler neck and the neck got pin hole leaks in it, fixed with JB Weld).

Please submit the actual codes it threw (as there can be more then one code for evap reasons).

I actually don't know the actual code, I went to a shop to flush my coolant (it also needed to be done) and they ran the diagnostic and told me it was evap, but not what the code itself was.

Also, since my coolant has been flushed, it's unusually easy for me to rev up to over 5kRPMs now and I've never been able to get to that so easily since I've owned the car. The old coolant was rusty-colored and sludgy (previous owner mixed ethylene glycol with the Dex-Cool... noob) and so I'm not sure if Monte is back to normal now or if the shop bugged him up. Thoughts?
