Default Brake Rotors

What does everyone like as far as styles and manufacturers of brake rotors? I'm still running the originals and they are still fine performance-wise right now but are visually a little bad looking with the surface rust around the perimeter edge. Really, I would just want some high quality blank rotors like the OEM's; i.e. no drilled or slotted rotors. Not really a fan of anything that would create more dust so ceramic looks to be out of the picture, although something that won't rust like crazy would be nice. OEM's from the dealership are always an option but I wanted to see what everyone else recommends out there for rotors. All that said, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

I just did pads and rotors on my 2004 Dale Jr. and used AC-Delco professional series parts for everything. The car stops great and I paid around $290 for all four rotors and pads shipped from rockauto. I actually could have gotten everything cheaper through amazon.com if I would have thought about it.

I just went with a new set of ACDelco performance brake pads back in late August so those hardly have any mileage on them as of now.

I like Centric Premium Performance Rotors

They have that black paint that has held up well from rusting, and have lasted a good amount of time for me, and on my parents' 06.

If your rotors are in good shape but look bad with rust in areas why not just buy some black caliper paint and cover those areas? It would be a lot less expensive versus new rotors. Even if you do get new rotors you will need to purchase painted/powder coated ones or they will look like the ones you have now in a short period of time - even the 'coated' ones.

If you do go for new rotors my choice would be Power Stop. I found the least amount of negative reviews for them so that is what I went with.

That's an option but honestly I'm not sure I want to deal with trying to prep and paint the old rotors that are currently on the car, and I do understand that you can't get rid of all corrosion with rotors. I just don't want cheap CarQuest rotors. I went cheap on my 03 and they looked like complete crap after a month so I went and bought OEM ones. OEM's don't corrode nearly as bad as the cheaper rotors.

It's been a while since I've seen them with the wheels off so when I do my spring detail and take the rims off I'll assess exactly what I want to do. I need to rotate the tires anyway and am also looking at new tires very soon. In the meantime, I just wanted some suggestions before I do anything.
