Bad Paint on Grond Effect?
On the ground effect on the rear bumper cover (high sport package) I have a chip - culd have been caused by anything.
However, there are two...one on each side.....little X's in teh paint. It's like a screw began to pierce the piece fron the inside causing the paint to crack, but there are no scews anywhere near there, AND it's too perfect. It's actually more like a razor blade just sliced a little X in teh paint.
Has anyone ever seen this? Could this be an excuse to get that piece replaced under paint warranty?
Thanks!

RE: Bad Paint on Grond Effect?
Actually , I'd have to look at it up close, because it could almost be someone just bumping your back bumper ever so slightly. Like those Deer whistle things ppl stick on their bumpers... those could have done it.
But if the damage was done from the inside then it definitely would seem to be an installation/dealer issue.
