anybody have slotted rotors
Had them, they were cheap quality and the insides of the rotors wore terribly and ruined my inner pads too. It was almost dangerous how they wore.
Now I just run a high quality Centric Performance blank with a coating to prevent rust.

so a full set front and rear under 200 probably is garbage?
A bunch of people swear by them (company was brakemotive).
I had a poor experience and won't buy again.
However, piecing together separately, my Centric could be had around $200. Each front rotor was $50 and the rears are $30, throw in pads and it's close to the $200 mark.

I've never used drilled/slotted rotors, but I'm ecstatic with the current brake setup on my Monte. I traded out the worn stock brakes for AC Delco Advantage rotors (their performance/heavy duty line) and Bendix ceramic brake pads. I also threw on the Goodridge stainless braided flex lines (mostly for looks).
The brakes are VASTLY better (granted, anything would have been better then the worn in stock brakes). I also had my calipers powder coated, so I completely rebuilt the calipers too.
