Slotted/drilled rotors = noisy?
I replaced my worn out stock rotors/pads (the original one's that came with the car 6yrs ago) with some slotted/cross drilled rotors and ceramic brake pads from Brakemotive a few weeks ago and ever since then I've noticed that once I get up over 10mph that I can hear a slight whirring/rubbing sound. Sounds like the brake pad is constantly rubbing against the rotor, and it gets slightly louder when the brakes are applied.
It's not obnoxiously loud or anything, but when driving next to a curb or wall it becomes more noticeable. Is this normal? I've checked the rotors many times for any signs of abnormal wear and can't see anything obvious. I've got about 300 miles on them since the install, is this noise something that'll go away as time goes on or should I just get used to it?
