Default which way do slotted rotors go?

I went to the chicago auto show on monday and one thing i noticed is that different companies have their slotted rotors going different directions than other companies.

so i was just wondering, seing as i have slotted rotors, which way are they supposed to go.

the image below is of my car and to the left is the front of the car so i would say the slots are pointing forward because the slot is close to the center and gets farther back but at the auto show some had it this way and others had it the oppisite way.

P.S. i will have pics of the showupas soon as our internet here gets fixed turns out the reason i couldn't upload photos was because we had such an old modem.

The picture you have listed is the way they are typically made. I have never seen them in the other direction so I would naturally not trust them.

As 04 Intimidator said, the picture of your left front is correct. What does your right front look like? Were your rotors designated as left & right with different part numbers for each? I'm considering a set of Brembo slotted rotors for my '07 SS. The Brembo's are different part numbers for left & right because of the slots. The slots aid in the venting of gases generated by hot brake pads. The slots are angled to use the rotors direction of rotation to aid in the venting of the gases. I just need to somehowjustify spending$125.00Eachfor the Brembo's!!!!!

The front right looks the same way.

My rotors were i think 150.00 shipped to my dooroff ebay they are not brembo quality by any means but they have not warpped and the zinc coating on them is still there so i was very pleased with them and i have had them for a year now
