Aluminum UIM
Does anyone know where I can purchase an aluminum UIM plenum? I cracked the factory plastic one, also what could happen as a result of driving it with a crack in it right next to the throttle body where an uim bolt goes..? Any responses are appreciated this is my first question as a member thanks.

Search junk yards is your best bet. These are not a direct bolt on intake but can be made work for sure, I've did it on turbo monte.
I would advise against driving it with a cracked uim. If it's cracked it's a vacuum leak etc which is not good.

Hello, like Turbo Monte says, the aluminum upper intake manifold we use on our engines is not a direct fit and will require a fair bit of modifications from you to make it fit on your engine. The manifold comes from the Buick L26 engine.
Here is a link to an eBay listing so that you may see the part your looking for, and as Turbo Monte said would be available from a junk yard at a fair price fi you live in the proximity of one.
