Default UIM gasket & fuel rails

Whats the best UIM gasket to get? & can i remove the lower intake without taking anything else off? & how should i go about removing the fuel rails? Thanks

i got felpro ones for mine
and you have to remove the fuel rails and any wiring that may be in the way. the fuel rails are on with 4 10mm nuts (im 99% sure) lol then just carefully pull it up and move it out the way. or you could disconnet the lines, which is really easy

There wasnt any pressure in mine, some gas will be there though, just get a rag or something to soak it up if you dont want it getting all over the place lol

The front of the fuel lines is a schrader valve to release pressure.

Anyone got part numbers for good gaskets?

I think all UIM gaskets are nylon. But for the LIM, I would NEVER use anything but a aluminum gasket these days. FelPro makes them. I advise ordering them via RockAuto. I think a LOT of the info with pics you can find in this thread Frank started a while back:
