My fan picked the coldest day of the year to stop working but i am not sure it is the motor I checked the fuse an it was good but when I removed the wires from the motor an checked it with my test light it has no power. I also have been getting water on the passenger side on the floor the heater core is brand new an I only get water when it rains does anyone know of a problem area for leaks on this car an does anyone know of anything ulse to check for power to the fan motor

 

monte carlos are known to have a water leak from the wiper cowl area on the passenger side,just remove the plastic panel on the wiper cowl and check that the rubber gasket under there by the filter is still attached and if not silicone it back on there. gm also has been known to have an issue with a resister that controls the fan settings and dies often i would check that first. they are cheap to replace.
