Exclamation ABS Probs

Hey Everyone,

My 2004 Monte is having a ABS issues. Seems like randomly when I brake or brake while turning the ABS, trac off, and service trac system lights come on. It is not all the time, kinda random. About a year ago I took it to a tech for the same problem and they replaced 2 ABS harnesses. Seemed to fix the problem till just recently. Could it be the same thing, or something else?

Thanks in advanced.

Hello,

I am fighting the ABS and Traction Off lights on my 2001 SS also. First ABS code was for RR wheel speed sensor, I replaced that hub and it fixed it for about a week. The next time it came on I started checking wires and found that the LF wire harness was broken. I have since replaced both front and the rear wire harnesses and have yet to fix the ABS light.

Not sure what the next step is but if I have a breakthrough I will let you know!

i haven't looked around at the wire but seems like the moment i move or put in drive or reverse it comes on but its not all the time so im thinking if its a broken wire it would be a constant thing

It could be a bad hub/wheel bearing assembly.
